COPS investigating Michael Jackson's death have refused to rule out murder.

Los Angeles police are looking into Jackson's drug history and want to quiz all of the star's former doctors.

Dad Joe Jackson believes "foul play" was involved in his son's death — a claim he made on US TV show Good Morning America.

LA police chief William Bratton said they will wait for toxicology test results before ruling out any possibilities.

He said: "Are we dealing with homicide? Are we dealing with an accidental overdose? What are we dealing with?"

The police will wait for the coroner to determine the 50-year-old's cause of death, but say their investigations continue.

Detectives are currently gathering evidence, including items seized from Jackson's rented home and arranging interviews with his many physicians.

Lawyer for Dr Arnold Klein, one of Jackson's medics, said the dermatologist was subpoenaed for medical records, which he gave to the coroner.

Joe Jackson said he didn't know anything about drugs Michael, who died two weeks ago, was taking. He said: "I don't even know the name of them.

"I do know that whatever he was taking was to make him rest because he had been working so hard."

Joe also said he and wife Katherine should get custody of Jacko's three kids, saying: "They'll grow up to be strong Jacksons."

Michael's daughter Paris, 11, was said to be taking the singer's death badly - crying every time she hears his name.
